―Artist Book
"Stolen" is a laser-cut, handmade assembled artist book that tells the story of how my beloved violin was stolen from me when I was 15. Each violin rosin represents a stage of my personal story.

I met her when I was only 10, she was there sitting
with the others with her beautiful long neck...
By age 11, she was my good friend
she made me speak my heart...
By age 12, I saw her everyday, we sang,
we laughed, we were two combined in one...
By age 13, she was the best, there was
nothing else that could have its place...
By age 14, we played in front of them,
the notes were freed. So was my heart...
By 15, the thief held his gun to
me as he took her away...
By 16, I lost my will to play
as I gave my soul away...
By 19, I took a plane and flew far, far away...
By 21, I heard her voice again, she was there sitting
by herself with her beautiful long neck...
I asked her name and she said, I am your stolen violin that is here to stay.
