The upcoming renovation of the Golf House at Pinehurst will feature several interactive experiences for visitors and golf players. For this project, I am the lead user experience and user interface, designer. The designs stills on this page represent work currently in progress.
The featured “Spirit of Championship Golf” show will focus on the ways USGA championships provide unique tests of golfers’ skills.

Visitors meet a diverse group of USGA champions and competitors from across all divisions of competition and hear directly from them what it takes to win on some of golf’s most challenging stages.

The project includes more than 20 custom media pieces, including large-scale video, interactives, and motion graphics highlighting the history of golf, the science behind the game, and its greatest champions. A custom-designed CMS will allow USGA staff to update the exhibit easily with highlights from the latest championships, enshrine new hall-of-famers, and promote upcoming events.

INTERACTIVE TABLE
Orientation Gallery
Highlights include an 8 foot long touchtable animated by responsive golf ball “pixels” playfully presenting information about the range of USGA’s impacts and initiatives. Flanking the table are multiple large LED walls, immersing visitors in a visual overview which highlights the full scope of USGA’s work to champion and advance the game of golf.

This experience invites visitors to explore the Pinehurst golf course using a rotating AR viewfinder to discover fascinating facts about the course.
